Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Gwent Centre of the Caravan and Motorhome Club will be held at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday 20th September 2025 in person at Llanarth Village Hall

- Motions Submitted - Proposal by Gwent Centre Committee 10th August 2025 - Proposed B. Jude, Seconded by J. Jenkins. Proposed that the criteria for the nomination and award of the ‘Caravanner of the Year Award’ is updated to reflect present day Centre activity.
- Any Other Business
a. As required by Rule 6(c) of the Rules governing Centres, nominations for Executive Office or Committee, signed by the nominee, must be received by the Centre Hon Secretary not later than 14 days prior to the meeting i.e. by 2:30 pm on Saturday 6th September 2025. Each nominee must have one proposer and one seconder prior to submission by the Hon Secretary.
b. In accordance with the Centre's rules, all nominees for Chairman, Vice Chairman or Hon Rally Secretary must have served on the Centre Committee, at any time, for a period of at least 12 months. Further, the period of office by a member as Chairman shall with effect from 1984/5 be limited to three years.
c. Nominees for Centre Hon Treasurer shall have completed a minimum of two years as a Gwent Centre member immediately prior to nomination and must have at least sound experience of book-keeping.
d. As required by Rule 6(d) of the Rules Governing Centres, formal notices of motion, duly signed by the proposer and seconder must be received by the Centre Hon Secretary not later than 35 days prior to the meeting, i.e. by 2:30 pm on Saturday 15th August 2025. Any items of a non-formal notice basis to be discussed during Any Other Business should be submitted in writing to the Centre Secretary at least 35 days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting, providing details of the business to be discussed.
e. Only Members, Joint Members and Family Members registered with the Gwent Centre will be entitled to speak or vote, although the Club Constitution does not forbid the admission of spouses or other persons of the members' families.
f. Anyone wishing to join the AGM virtually via Teams must register their interest via email to the Hon Secretary (gwentcentre@hotmail.com) not later than 14 days prior to the meeting.
Gwent Centre members need to ensure that their Centre membership is validated in advance of the meeting. CAMC will send the Centre Secretary a list of full Centre members up to 48 hours before the meeting. It is the responsibility of members to provide evidence of recent Centre membership enrolment by way of phone App or online membership profile on the day of the AGM, if their details do not appear on the CAMC membership list at that time. Only members whose details are featured on the list or whose details can be evidenced on the day of the AGM will be entitled to vote.
