Gwent Centre Dinner Dance

The Gwent Centre Dinner Dance will be held at the Manor Hotel, Crickhowell, Powys over the weekend of 31st January to 2nd February 2025. The Dinner Dance will be held on the evening of Saturday 1st February 2025.

The Dinner Dance is one of the Centre's finest black-tie social events and we have block-booked all of the Hotel Rooms and will also be running a rally alongside the event in the Hotel grounds. There are some rooms still available (contact Stefan Cartwright or Brian Jude for details of pre-booked rooms) and the costs are listed further down this page. There are still spaces available on the Rally, but as we are still looking for a Rally Officer please contact Stefan Cartwright (Rally Secretary) or Brian Jude, Centre Chairman to reserve your space on the Rally.

The cost of the Dinner Dance is £37.50 which includes a 3 course meal, or £32.50 for those who only wish to have a 2 course meal and this also includes a Disco entertainment to bop the night away. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE YOU HAVE RESERVED YOUR SPACE YOU CAN COMPLETE YOUR MEAL CHOICES BY COMPLETING THE ONLINE BOOKING SLIP BELOW.

Please note that all Hotel Rooms have already been reserved by Members.  Please speak to Brian Jude on 07811 319932 who will be able to confirm your Room Number and details as well as advise on the status of the Reserve List and advise on alternative accommodation options nearby.  Please remember there is a Rally running alongside this event as well so you can bring your own outfit to the event.

All prices listed are per room and are based on Bed and Breakfast.

£110 B&B to book a Standard Room for the Saturday Night or £220 if you wish to also book the Friday Night.

£120 B&B to book a better room for the Saturday night or £240 if you wish to also book the Friday Night.

£160 B&B to book a Superior Room for the Saturday Night or £320 if you wish to also book the Friday Night.

Please note that breakfast for two guests is included in the pricing of each of the room types above.

Hotel Rooms - Members are responsible for paying for their own room bills, along with any sundry costs for drinks etc and members should ensure that these are settled before leaving the hotel at the end of the weekend.

Meal Costs - The £35.00 per person meal cost should be paid into the Gwent Centre Bank Account by 1st January 2025.  Payment can be made via BACS Sort Code 30-63-59 Account Number 25755160 (Gwent Centre Caravan and Motorhome Club).  Please use the reference DANCE followed by your surname to assist in tracking your payment in the bank account.  For example DANCEJONESA&B.  Some members have already paid a £10.00 deposit for their rooms and this amount can be deducted from the meal payment. 

Rally Payments - The Rally Officers for this event are Paul and Helen Jones and payments should be given to the Rally Officer on arrival at the Dinner Dance (Don’t forget to book your Rally space).  For those on the rally, a breakfast can be booked in the Hotel for £12.95 per person per meal for a full Welsh Breakfast or a Continental Breakfast.
