Gwent Centre Dinner Dance Rally
The Gwent Centre Dinner Dance is an annual event that is an opportunity for us all to dust off the Dinner Jackets, Tuxedos and evening dresses and celebrate a wonderful social experience with a three course dinner and live entertainment.
This years event is being held at the Manor Hotel, Crickhowell and further details can be found on the Social Events page of the Website. The organiser is Brian Jude and the Gwent Centre Committee.

We return to this lovely venue with magnificent views over the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains.
This is a very popular Rally and early booking is recommended. Within the cost of the rally, members are able to take full advantage of the Hotel facilities and these include the Bar, Restaurant, Swimming Pool and Sauna (subject to availability). There is a lot to see and do in the local area with the local market town of Hay on Wye approximately 3 miles away and Brecon 12 miles away, both of which have local markets and a good selection of shops.
On the Saturday, the Hotel Restaurant and Bar will be open for ralliers to enjoy the six nation Rugby matches for the day on the large screen

The site is well positioned for local pubs and restaurants and for those wishing a little retail therapy, the market towns of Abergavenny and Brecon are just a short drive away.

Set in the foothills of the Black Mountains, this rally site is very popular with ralliers who like to unwind and take in the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside. There are many pleasant walks in the area and there will be a social gathering over the weekend, the details of which will be shared very shortly.

You will find a warm welcome at West End Farm, which offers an ideal location for a relaxing, tranquil holiday, but with the convenience of being only three miles from both the centre of Weston-super-Mare and junction 21 of the M5 motorway.
Located half a mile off the A371, Weston-super-Mare to Bath road, the site offers an ideal position as a touring centre for the West Country.
This quiet park is set in 15 acres of land which offers a dry, well drained & level site in a country setting. The newly opened Landing Light pub is a 15 minute stroll from site and offers good food and drink.

This is one of the Cntre's favourite Rally venues. You will be pitched in the Castle grounds and be able to take in the splendour of the magnificent Castle itself or stroll in the well maintained park land and grounds. The town is a short walk away and there is a good selection of shops or the larger supermarkets can also be found nearby. Caldicot is a short distance away from the Bristol Channel and you will see the Severn Bridge lit up at night.

What a fantastic location to spend the Whitsun Bank Holiday! The Pembrey Country Park is a beautiful location with amazing scenery, great walks amongst the woods and lakes and easy access through to one of the longest sandy beaches in Wales. The town of Llanelli is a few miles down the road in the one direction and Carmarthen a few miles in the opposite direction. With lovely pubs and restaurants nearby there is everything you could want for a great relaxing break.

Little Winnick is a family owned camping, glamping & touring park. Nestled into the valley Little Winnick offers spacious and flat pitches located on the banks of the River Winnick and close to Pentewan Beach along with many others. The Park is a real sun trap with guests enjoying sunshine from sunrise to dusk.
All of our pitches are a minimum of 8 x 8 metres. We ask that everything you pitch, including awnings, gazebo or pup tent and car are sited within this area. Please note if you have a large tent, especially the larger Airbeam tents, with extra awnings may not be able to accommodate your tents. When pitching, everything including your guy robes must be within your pitch boundary. Please speak to us when booking. Pitches prices are based on 2 people, extra people will be charged accordingly. We allow a maximum of 6 people per pitch.
Electric hook ups are supplied behind the marked out pitches, please ensure you bring your own electric cable to connect into the electric; and that it is long enough.

The Steam Rally returns to Abergavenny and our rally venue is an ideal location in which to travel in and enjoy the smells, sights and sounds of the transport of our past.
Across the road from the Steam Rally is the town of Abergavenny where you can enjoy the market or visit one of the many shops or cafes.
The field has some spectacular views of the Usk valley and there will be a Social on the Saturday evening.

This is a quiet secluded site situated right on the edge of Brown Moss Nature Reserve which covers an area of 60 acres, it is one of Shropshire’s most interesting sites for birds and also has many rare species of wild plants, with beautiful signposted walks. We also offer an immaculate rally field with 25 electric hook ups

With some amazing tribute acts in the nearby festival along with an array of refreshments, this is a fun-filled weekend to suit all musical tastes. For those not wishing to attend the Festival, this is a great venue in which to visit Cardiff, Penarth, Barry or to venture further down the Vale of Glamorgan.

The Rally itself is located at the Red Kite Feeding Centre, Rhyader and you will have the opportunity (at a small cost) to view these magnificent birds at feeding time in their natural environment.

We return to this beautiful rally location, set in the heart of the Glanusk Estate, with its beautifully kept grounds and surrounding scenery.
The Rally is set in the Glanusk Caravan Park and provides ralliers with Electric Hook-Up and access to the facilities.
With the towns of Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Brecon on the doorstep there is lots to see and do locally and there will be games and competitions on site during the weekend.

The Centre Committee are hosting this year's Rally and it is hoped that there will be a Social activity in the Hall in the evening following the AGM.
The Gwent Centre Annual General Meeting will take place on the Saturday afternoon at 14:30 in the Village Hall. The Centre will be following any Covid restrictions that might be in place at that time, so please check the website for updates. The calling notice and details of the AGM can be found by following the page link from the Home Page under Committee. Please remember to check your Centre membership status in advance of the AGM. Dan yr Ogof Showcave Campsite Rally

This is a gem of a Rally site location, with all the creature comforts to hand including hard-standing pitches, electric hook-up and some pitches are serviced with their own water and grey waste disposal. The site also has its own toilet and shower block, so its a perfect site for those autumn nights.
The views from the campsite are superb, with the showcaves a short walk away and Craig y Nos Castle across the valley. This is a great place in which to base yourself for walking and there are routes on the doorstep to suit all levels of fitness and ability. At the end of the day, there are a number of local pubs serving great food in front of a real fire!

6 September 2024 - Please note that this Rally is now FULL and has an active waiting list. Please speak to the Rally Officers before making any further bookings, as any cancellations will be filled from the waiting list on a first come, first served basis.
On the Friday night, join everyone in the Hall for Soup and a bread roll and also for the Halloween Social on the Saturday evening (fancy dress optional). Bring along your plain pumpkins for a parental-supervised pumpkin carving competition on the Saturday afternoon.

"Spooky in the Barn" Halloween Rally

We return to this lovely site close to the Severn Estuary for our "Spooky in the Barn" Halloween Rally. The owners have offered us the use of the barn for the entire weekend and so we will be planning a number of activities. There is also the option of staying an extra night on the Sunday going into the Monday for those with children on half-term holidays.
On the Friday night, join everyone in the Barn for a meet and greet social and on the Saturday afternoon we will be running a Pumpkin lantern carving competition in the Barn, along with a craft workshops. In the evening we will be holding our Halloween Social (fancy dress optional) with music and games. On the Sunday afternoon we will return to the Barn for a Film show.
